Yes, I know we are solidly into 2013, but I couldn’t pass up this infographic on B2B marketing trends for 2012 by Curata.

Your suspicions have been confirmed — content marketing is used by 87% of the respondents last year, up 5% from 2011.  Key challenges are creating origina lcontent (69%), finding the time to do it (65%), and finding quality content (43%).  All areas that we can help with, don’t you think?  Prediction:  a big growth area for thought leaders are partnerships with those who have big lists but no time for content creating.

The dark side:  using events to market is used only 62%, down 6% in only one year.  Translation:  those marketing meetings that have been so popular in the past are waning.  You speakers who are hot in this segment need to expand your appeal, pronto.
