Build More Value For Your Speaker Sponsorship

Many speakers get paid via sponsors, those third-party event marketers who partner with the host organization for brand awareness and other benefits.

According to this study from FreemanXP and the Event Marketing Institute, many folks use social media to leverage their event marketing (duh). But here’s the big a-ha:  while 70% say social marketing is critical, only 16% report that they are ‘very effective’ at creating impact. B2B marketers only fare 13% effective, while 66% say this is a top priority.

So…if speakers have a great social media program, wouldn’t this be of great value to the sponsors? You betcha. Many speakers ‘throw this in’ as part of their fee. Instead, let’s use it as a strategic advantage.
