Compare and Contrast

Last week, I asked you to look past the message and diagnosis and see the pivot.  Have fun?  Good.  Let’s do it again.

This time, we’re going visual.  Check out this infographic on the multi-faceted role of today’s marketer.

Move past the message and look at how the idea is presented.  Here’s what I see:

  • The set up:  news flash, we just can’t be creative anymore
  • The story:  why we can’t just be creative anymore
  • What our role looks like now:  the balance

What I like about “compare and contrast” infographics:  you can stay at 30,000 feet like this one or you can drill down into the deeper differences.  The key is that the changes can be seen at a glance.  And that provides instant education.
