Hey, it’s a competitive world out there.  This fabulous Fast Company article by Kaihan Krippendorff outlines a beautiful pattern that takes advantage of your competition’s strengths.

Yes, these are technology examples.  The pattern can work anywhere though.  The key:  you have to figure out how to turn your competitors’ assets into liabilities.  This will require time and space for critical thinking.  And…you have to be willing to be radical.  If you change the environment where the game is played, you change the game itself.

Everyone is committed to something.  And that commitment is a double-edged sword.  The key question:  what is your competition committed to?  That’s the first of three questions.  Check out this article for the other two questions that implement the pattern.
