What’s the use of writing killer insights if no one sees it? That’s why this article about how SEO (search engine optimization) and content marketing can work together piqued my interest.

Many of the ideas here have been covered before. And it was a relief to read that engaging ideas trump drivel based on the latest Google algorithm. My favorite finding: the power of evergreen content.

I’ve fallen into that trap of commenting on the latest craze. But the posts that get the most feedback: ideas that stand the test of time. Everyone wants to know how to stand out, how to get their ideas to the right places and how to succeed beyond our wildest dreams. My best rants have been based on those three things.

As we in the U.S. kick off a long holiday weekend, ask yourself: what do you know that will be true five years from now? Ten years from now? Write about that and watch how far those insights go.
