Make Your Content Visual

Every time I pass along my favorite infograph, I get emails asking how experts like us can make our content come alive.  The options aren’t pretty:  larger companies have in-house designers and professional information designers are charging big bucks.

What’s a small biz expert to do?  Check out these five tools outlined by Fast Company magazine in this article.  And by the way, did I mention that they are free?  But that’s not my favorite part (well, the price is a close second).  I LOVE that you can customize your own versions — so there’s no excuse for your masterpiece to look like everyone else’s.

This is worth learning more about — many of the larger players are making their content visual and now we can, too.  And for those of you with teenagers, you may already have “in-house” assistance.  One client showed this to his son who replied (after he stopped laughing) “I’m already using Wordle; this isn’t news.”  Now I feel really old.
