Confession: Google analytics makes me crazy. I don’t understand half the stats. The question that always pops into my head: as compared to what?
Example: bounce rates. I see the percentages and have no idea how they compare to industry standard. Without that knowledge, how am I supposed to know if this is a problem worth fixing?
Enter this infographic from KISSmetrics. They show — you guessed it — the industry standards for bounce rates. Now I know if I need to leap into action. And what I need to look at to fix the problem.
Great example of a handy, practical tool. Ask yourself: how many of those do you put out there for your community? The more you help, the more gratitude you get back.
