Time to Change Tactics

Think your online marketing could be better?  Welcome to the club.  Research from Crain’s BtoB Magazine shows that generating more leads is the biggest challenge this year.  Other interesting stats:

  • Over half say brand promotion is a key area of focus.
  • Email marketing is still popular; questions remain on its ability to fill the sales pipeline.

The data is relatively fresh (released just a few months ago) and is directed to B2B, a space most of us play in.  More importantly, this study shows what tactics are on the downhill slide.  This is a heads up we need to pay attention to.

If the big boys (with big budgets) are having problems, then I feel better when I have the same confusion with online marketing.  Misery loves company.  And…the handwriting is on the wall.  It’s time to diversify and see how we can connect with our market.
