Two Big Trends for B2B Marketing

Alrighty now…the party is over and it’s time to get back to work. Let’s get some ideas for next steps with this informative post about social media trends.

The findings we care about most:

  • The focus on LinkedIn for B2B marketers. In the early days, all social media channels looked great. Now is the time to focus on where our buyers hang out. Your homework assignment: come up with three ways you’re going to expand your platform here.
  • The last trend about content marketing. The first line says it all: “In 2015, marketers will finally realize that there are two core pillars of a content marketing strategy: publication and distribution.” Most of us focus on the former. Now is the time to create new channels for what we create.

 

Creating new content may not be the best course. This is the year to use what we have and expand our platform.
