New Year’s Eve – the last day of the year. Whew! Am I the only one happy that 2020 is finally over? While I love a good roller-coaster ride, this one went a little too long for me.

Now is the time to set our intention for the new year. Instead of resolutions, I create a direction that drives my decisions. And from my previous blog posts, you’ve probably guessed what my theme for 2021 is: opportunity.

Even in chaos, there are always new places and new ways to serve. They just look invisible at first because we are blinded by uncertainty. We’re so focused on adjusting to the “new normal,” that we miss that soft knock of opportunity.

The good news is that we’re used to unrelenting curve balls by now. It’s time to seek out opportunities hidden in plain sight. It’s amazing what we can find when we have different glasses on. Let’s do this!
