Generative AI has changed the content marketing game. Large companies with budgets will use the more sophisticated paid tools in their marketing and advertising efforts.

Recognizing the opportunity, several gen AI tools have emerged to help companies with their content marketing plans. You’ve likely heard about ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini (formerly Bard). But there’s another that will have a major impact on small shops. It’s called Typeface.

Typeface emerged in February 2023, promising to help businesses “securely create exceptional, brand-personalized content faster and easier than ever before.” At that time, Typeface had secured $65 million in funding. Four months later, it had received $100 million more and landed a partnership with Salesforce. This company isn’t going anywhere.

What Makes Typeface’s Generative AI Tool Different?

Typeface’s appeal lies in the fact that its AI will self-train and customize content using a company’s voice and tone at scale. Users describe the tone and audience, then the AI does the rest. Companies can use it to create vast and consistent libraries of content. Marketing agencies that develop content and social media posts should be very afraid.

As a result, companies that use Typeface and AI tools like it will flood the market with emotionally compelling content. Brand voice will become a commodity and not necessarily a differentiator. The tools’ ability to consistently create compelling content will cement buyers’ relationship with the brand. And it will become a lot harder to change buyers’ opinions and persuade them to use anything else.

If you haven’t already, you must create a consistent voice and tone. And make sure you connect emotionally with your ideal clients. Gen AI has raised the stakes for playing in this game.
