When looking for help, we tend to gravitate toward people who are famous for having well-known clients. It’s easy to assume that if they helped this celebrity, then these folks have a magic wand that will help us, too.

But here’s why you want to hesitate before working with someone who has celebrity clients: because they may not have the time to make you famous.

The secret no one discusses: The care and feeding of celebrity clients takes a lot of time and energy. Therefore, many “firms of the famous” can’t devote that kind of attention to their lesser-known clients. That’s why most of these resources have “systems” everyone must go through.
