According to research from Modern, CMOs at enterprise B2B companies are focused on the customer experience and upskilling their team.

This is good news for trainers and event speakers.

Pay attention to these findings:

• Customers are top priority. Forty-eight percent of the CMOs surveyed said delivering a better customer experience is a top strategic priority. That’s up from 31% in 2022. This doesn’t apply to just customer service. This priority will impact speaker selections for marketing events and promote branding experts for compelling campaigns.

• Teams need help. CMOs acknowledge that their teams need to build up their skills, and they are willing to invest in training. The key is to identify their priorities. Make sure your content addresses what is happening now. Drilling down will be a powerful branding tool.
